Just Released: Orion APM v3.1, Orion IPAM v1.6, Orion IP SLA v3.1
SolarWinds recently announced the release of new versions for three of its Orion products: Orion APM v3.1, Orion IPAM v1.6, Orion IP SLA v3.1.
What’s New in Orion APM?
- Windows Event Log Monitor & Template – scan event logs and count the number of recent events
- Add-a-Node Wizard Adds Applications – shortcuts between APM and NPM let you more easily assign templates and add nodes
- Performance Improvement on the Node Details Page – applications web resources loads faster in larger environments
- Application Details View Sorting – sort on processes and services
- Improved MAPI UE Response Time – calculations no longer include APM processing time
The new Orion APM v3.1 makes it easier to manage more application types in larger environments.
What’s New in Orion IPAM?
- Bulk Add Subnets – easily add IP address ranges
- Multi-Edit – for mass editing of IP addresses
- HTML Field Links – you can now create a custom field with a URL as a value
- Support for /31 and /32 Subnets
The new Orion IPAM v1.6 simplifies the process of managing addresses in larger networks.
What’s New in Orion IP SLA?
- IP SLA Device Discovery – scan your entire Orion device list and automatically import IP SLA capable devices into the Orion IP SLA database
- Specify External Targets – setup a periodic test to verify your connection to a device (or website) that is not managed by Orion
- Interface Specific Operations – designate which interfaces you want a specific operation to run on
The new Orion IP SLA v3.1 helps to quickly determine where in the network IP SLA monitoring can be enabled.
